Which Cash Register

Is Ideal For Me?

Some websites for low priced Cash Registers would be:

Link 1: Casio - Geller - Sharp - Sam4s

Link 2: Casio - Geller - Sharp - Sam4s

Link 3: Low Priced Till Rolls

With many different Cash Registers on the market at present, some starting from as low as £50.00+vat it seems crazy for some businesses, shops and stalls to be trading from a box or a tin.

The two cheapest Cash Registers that spring to mind are the Sharp XE-A102 and Casio 130CR. Both are very basic tills, but are great for starting off. However tills can come in two forms, one has a single till roll (which can be used as a receipt OR a journal log of every sale) and the other type has two till rolls; both a receipt and a journal. Note a machine which; we will call a twin roll machine, will cost more than the single roll type. The two models mentioned above, Sharp XE-A102 and Casio 130CR are both single roll machines. They also have a small coin tray section.

If its a twin-roll epos machine you are after, recommendations would be the Sharp XE-A303, Casio SE-S2000 or Geller SX-590. There is also a decent range from Sam4s which are reasonably priced. The twin roll machines mentioned above are all Thermal Printing Machines; this means they take Thermal Till Rolls, as apposed to normal 'A' grade paper rolls. Thermal Printers use heat to.....lets say burn the print into the paper, although Thermal Paper is slightly dearer than normal 'A' grade paper the need for Ink Ribbons and Rollers is no longer necessary. Making the cost of running them very similar.
